Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 26, 2026  ·  Last Updated: August 30, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

Centauri Fulcrum, LLC ("Centauri Fulcrum," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with your use of centaurifulcrum.com (the "Site") and your general business dealings with us as a website visitor or prospective client.

This Policy governs the Site and our general business communications. It does not govern information collected or generated in the course of an active investigative engagement. Information gathered, produced, or held by Centauri Fulcrum while performing investigative, OSINT, cyber, or intelligence services for a client — including information about third parties who are the subject of an investigation — is governed by the engagement agreement with that client, applicable professional and licensing obligations, and applicable law. It is not "personal information" collected from you as a website visitor, and the rights described in Section 8 below do not apply to it.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact details you share when you call, email, or otherwise reach out to us (such as your name, phone number, email address, company, and the nature of your inquiry)
  • Information submitted through the Site's contact form (name, email address, and message, plus optional phone number and company)
  • Information you voluntarily provide in the course of exploring a potential engagement

Information Collected Automatically

If and when the Site uses analytics or similar tools, we (or our service providers) may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referring/exit pages
  • Cookie and similar tracking identifiers (see Section 4)

The Site's contact form is intended for general inquiries only and is not used to collect case-related or investigative-subject information. We do not currently operate account logins, newsletter sign-ups, or online case-intake forms on the Site. If that changes, this Policy will be updated to describe the additional information collected at that point.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with prospective and current clients
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Understand how visitors use the Site (where analytics tools are in use)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
  • Protect the security and integrity of our systems

We do not use information collected through the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Where the Site uses cookies or similar technologies (for example, analytics tools), they may be used to distinguish visitors, understand aggregate usage patterns, and improve the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; doing so may affect some Site functionality. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information:

  • With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, or communications tools), under obligations to protect it
  • Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Centauri Fulcrum, our clients, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets
  • With your consent

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

7. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable state privacy law with respect to personal information we hold about you as a website visitor, including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you
  • Access a copy of that information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising (Centauri Fulcrum does not currently engage in either)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, California residents have the rights listed above plus the right to know the specific pieces of personal information collected, and to designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

Residents of Other States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including but not limited to Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others) have similar rights as described above, subject to the specific terms of the applicable state law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will verify your request before responding and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. International Visitors

Centauri Fulcrum is based in the United States, and information collected through the Site is generally processed in the United States.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is not yet a common industry standard for how to respond to such signals, the Site does not currently respond to them differently than to other browsing activity.
